I’m on Day 3 going 21 consecutive days without complaining.
If you want to test the theory that it takes 21 days to form a new habit try it in another area of your life. Here’s one I’m currently experiencing:
I fell skiing a couple of months ago finally severing a torn rotator cuff. As a result, it’s more comfortable if I sleep on the opposite side of the bed.
Marti and I switched sides, which means we exchanged bedside table drawers. For 2 weeks, I’ve gone to what WAS my side of the bed looking for my stuff. In about another week, the habit will be broken and I’ll remember which is my side.
What do you want to become a habit? Do it daily for 21 days until it takes you over.
