George Carlin wondered aloud, “When was the last time you saw a kid just sitting in the yard playing with a stick?” 

Good point.

We are constantly staring at screens designed to get and keep our attention and as a result, we are more stressed and anxious today than ever.

When was the last time you were bored — simply sitting around with nothing to do? 

Chances are that rarely happens and yet it’s in our inactivity that we gain clarity, inspiration, self-knowledge and focus.

This is why meditation is so beneficial because it actually pushes the mind to boredom and that’s where the magic happens.

Today, let’s explore the power of NOTHING as we make plans to be intentionally…bored.
