Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve read the life stories of George Carlin, Ron and Clint Howard, Johnny Carson, and Jerry Lewis.
Even before social media, the rich and famous were presented as being care-free and above life’s problems leaving us all aspiring to be like them, and yet they all experienced trauma, pain, and tons of problems — just like you and me.
We tend to amplify our own problems and diminish other people’s problems to make ourselves feel unique, but the cost of such thinking is pain and suffering.
