JumpStart- Real Time

AUDIO

SYNOPSIS

Don’t you just love watching blooper reels where actors or announcers flub their lines, scenery malfunctions, unexpected people walk into scenes, etc.?

They’re funny to us but many times not very funny to the people creating the gaffs.

I recently heard a social scientist say this about Facebook, “The problem with social media is that we are watching everyone else’s highlight reel while we are living our own blooper reel.“

Today, let’s talk about the pitfalls of comparing ourselves to others especially the ideal lives we presume others to be living as projected on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Today, stop focusing on your blooper reel and let’s get real!

Be sure to post your questions and comments, I always reply to them personally.
