This saying has become so much a part of our culture that I recently heard of a band named No There There.

Have you ever heard this quote?

To me it says that when you live something you anticipate, either something you perceive to be good or you perceive to be bad, it is never quite what you expect.

Moreover, your very presence shifts the dynamic of the experience.

Today, let’s draw comfort from the fact that we change our environment and that nothing is ever as bad as we fear it might be.
