Last night, 10 people were murdered in Boulder and we’re all feeling the pain of this loss.

When I was teen, my parents sent me very mixed messages with regards to safety by having me take 2 years worth of driver’s training before I received a car but then they handed me a .357 magnum and boxes of ammo with no training whatsoever.

* Maybe there’s a connection?

* Maybe we need more training?

* Maybe a longer waiting period?

In this rather somber JumpStart, we come together to collectively grieve and to consider options for creating a future without gun violence.
