JumpStart – Apple A Day 7 – “Achieving Excellence”

Podcast

Aristotle is one of the most quoted sages of all time and his quote “Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work” says a lot about people’s level of contentment as well as their performance.

It reminds me of Mark Twain’s comment, “The secret of success is to make your vocation your vacation.”

Happiness (and therefore success) at work starts within.

  • What do you like about your job and how can you maximize those things?
  • How can you “Blue Ocean” what you’re doing?
  • What one thing would make your job better and how might you bring that about?

Doing well at something we want to do is easy, the challenge is that it’s very “in vogue” to hate your job; don’t buy into that nonsense.

Instead, find happiness and satisfaction starting now >>>
